My Why

I don’t see life after 50 as a decline. Instead, I see it as evolving into my Freedom Era.

At 57 I’m here to help women over 50 who are ready to rebuild their energy, confidence and create an effortlessly healthy life they love.

I know how it feels to wake up one day and wonder where your energy went, why your body no longer responds like it used to and whether this exhaustion is your new normal. I’ve been there – and I found another way.

Through 30+ years in wellness, two decades in a high-pressure corporate law environment, and my own rollercoaster through menopause and burnout, I’ve developed a proven, science-informed framework that works with the unique needs of women over 50.

Energised Ageing was created from my lived experience, education, knowledge and my belief that with the right approach, life after 50 can become your Freedom Era.


My Story

Beginning my career working in a variety of roles in a corporate law environment (back in the 80s and 90s), was a fantastic opportunity to experience an intense, high-pressure life that I loved. I felt like I was the girl who could outwork everyone, fuelled by perfectionism, adrenaline and little sleep.

When I became a mum, I followed my passion into health and fitness. I trained clients from early morning until late night, and somehow kept all the balls in the air.

Was I exhausted? Probably.
But it was a kind of exhaustion I actually enjoyed at the time.

That was, until I arrived in my late 40s and everything changed.

Perimenopause hit me like a freight train.
My once resilient body felt (and looked) totally foreign and my energy disappeared – seemingly overnight.
No matter how hard I pushed, nothing worked.

But of course, I pushed harder – study, launching a business, a marathon, ironman triathlons. I kept going until my body literally made me stop.

I crashed. And, it was messy! I was totally burnt out. But, this was also my turning point.

Instead of seeing life after 50 as a time of decline, I started listening – to my body, the science and women around me who were struggling as well.

I realised:
It was time to do things a little differently.

And from that, my Energise System was born.

Today, I help women over 50 create an effortlessly energised life they love.

Energised Ageing Manifesto

Creating the Energised Ageing Manifesto was something that has evolved over several years. It started as a few scribbled thoughts – ideas about what I believed life over 50 could be. Now, this set of principles is what Energised Ageing is all about.


Energised Ageing Core Values

Curiosity

Real change starts with curiosity. I encourage women to explore what’s influencing their energy right now and what might be possible from here, without pressure or self-judgment.



Authenticity

I value realness over perfection. Women over 50 don’t need fixing. They need permission to be themselves and live in a way that feels true to who they are now and who they are becoming.

Respect

Every woman’s journey matters. I meet women where they are, recognising their lived experience and encouraging choices that fuel their energy and wellbeing in ways that fit their life now.

Empowerment

You already have what you need within you. My role is to offer guidance and perspective so you can take ownership of your wellbeing and evolve into your Freedom Era with energy, confidence and joy.
